Millisecond
A Millisecond is a unit of time equal to one thousanth of a second or 1/1,000 of a second or 10-3 of a second. One millisecond conains 1000 microseconds. The symbol of millisecond is ms. The speed of reading or writing to a hard drive or a CD-ROM player is measured in milliseconds.
Second
A Second is the Standard International(SI) unit of time. It is abbreviated as s or sec. A Second is equal to 1/86400 of a day. A Second is defined as the time taken by 9,192,631,770 cycles of radiation that comes from electrons moving between two energy levels of the Caesium-133 atom. There are 86,400 seconds in one day, 3600 seconds in one hour and 60 seconds in one minute.
How to convert Millisecond to Second
